The stock market is surging today on Friday July 26th with the Sensex rising 1,152 points to 81,192.62 and the Nifty 50 climbing above 24,800. The Nifty 50 is trading at 24,801.05 up 1.70% and with a day range of 24,410.90 low to 24,818.25
The Nifty Bank index has also gained rising 0.63% to 51,211.15. This rally comes as companies continue to report Q1 FY24-25 results and with 458 out of 4,424 listed firms having declared earnings so far. Overall, revenues are up 13.13% year-over-year while net profits have increased 4.98%.

Shriram Finance led the market surge soaring 9.41% to reach Rs 2,931. The stock opened at Rs 2,705.80 and hit an intraday high of Rs 3,044 significantly outperforming its previous close of Rs 2,679. Shriram Finance’s strong performance set the tone for the day’s bullish sentiment.

Divi’s Laboratories followed closely gaining 4.80% to trade at Rs 4,765.15. The pharmaceutical company’s stock opened at Rs 4,570.95 and reached a high of Rs 4,810 showing robust momentum from its previous close of Rs 4,547.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise continued the upward trend rising 4.39% to Rs 6,666.20. The healthcare giant’s shares started the day at Rs 6,433 and touched a high of Rs 6,679.95 building on its previous close of Rs 6,385.80.
Adani Enterprises sees a notable increase of 3.78% with its stock price reaching Rs 3,085.90. Opening at Rs 2,995, the conglomerate’s shares hit a high of Rs 3,109 marking a jump from the previous day’s close of Rs 2,973.50.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone gained 3.55% trading at Rs 1,539.75. The port operator’s stock opened at Rs 1,495.90 and peaked at Rs 1,546.90 showing strong recovery from its previous close of Rs 1,487.
Wipro the IT services major, has risen 3.53% to Rs 524.75. Starting the day at Rs 510, Wipro’s shares reached a high of Rs 528.55 building on the previous session’s close of Rs 506.85.
Bharti Airtel saw its stock climb 3.51% to Rs 1,500. The telecom giant opened at Rs 1,450.25 and hit an intraday high of Rs 1,512.65 significantly above its previous close of Rs 1,449.15.
SBI Life Insurance Company’s shares increased by 3.49% trading at Rs 1,754.60. The insurer’s stock began at Rs 1,686.25 and touched a high of Rs 1,777.70 showing substantial growth from its last close of Rs 1,695.40.
Coal India Limited experienced a 3.20% rise with its stock price reaching Rs 509.80. The state-owned coal mining company’s shares opened at Rs 498.25 and hit a high of Rs 510.90, improving from the previous close of Rs 494.
Hindalco Industries rounded off the top gainers climbing 3.19% to Rs 667.15. The aluminum and copper manufacturing company’s stock started at Rs 660 and reached a peak of Rs 668.50, building on its previous close of Rs 646.55.
