The Nifty Bank index also advanced rising by 93.05 points to 51,499.30. This upward trend follows both the Nifty 50 and Sensex hitting fresh highs yesterday on July 29th.

The ongoing Q1 FY24-25 earnings season has seen results from 653 out of 4,585 companies so far. Revenue growth year-over-year stands at 12.71% while net profit has increased by 5.09%. Today alone 85 companies released their earnings reports.
Tata Motors led the gainers with its stock price rising 3.38% to reach 1,162.00. The company opened at 1,125.80 and touched a high of 1,179.00 before settling at its current price.
NTPC the power generation giant saw its shares climb 3.24% to 406.65. The stock opened at 397.00 and reached a high of 412.70 during the session. NTPC’s solid gains indicate positive sentiment around the energy sector.
