The Indian stock market showed mixed performance on July 25 with the BSE Sensex dropping 109.08 points (0.14%) to close at 80,039.80 while the Nifty 50 remained relatively flat slipping just 7.40 points (0.030%) to 24,406.10.
The day's trading range for Nifty 50 was 24,210.80 low to 24,426.15 while Sensex moved between 79,477.83 and 80,143.10. Investors are closely watching Q1 FY24-25 results with 375 out of 4,387 companies reporting so far showing a 12.43% YoY revenue growth and 5.44% YoY net profit increase.
Tata Motors led the gainers surging 5.97% to close at 1,089.05. The stock opened at 1,029.00 and reached a high of 1,094.00 outperforming its previous close of 1,027.70.
ONGC followed with a 4.83% gain closing at 335.00. It opened at 318.05 and hit a high of 337.55, up from the previous day's close of 319.55.

BPCL showed strong performance, rising 3.67% to 326.50. The stock opened at 312.95 and touched a high of 327.15, compared to its previous close of 314.95.
SBI Life Insurance gained 3.62%, closing at 1,692.00. It started the day at 1,645.00 and reached 1,701.35, up from the previous close of 1,632.95.
Larsen & Toubro (LT) saw a 2.91% increase, ending at 3,622.00. The stock opened at 3,539.00 and hit a high of 3,630.90, outperforming its previous close of 3,519.45.
Sun Pharma rose 2.36% to 1,657.65. It opened at 1,614.85 and reached a high of 1,681.30, up from the previous day's close of 1,619.45.
Kotak Bank gained 1.83%, closing at 1,778.20. The stock started at 1,732.00 and touched a high of 1,779.00, compared to its previous close of 1,746.20.
Wipro saw a 1.48% increase, ending at 507.50. It opened at 496.00 and hit a high of 507.50, up from the previous close of 500.10.
HDFC Life Insurance rose 1.37% to 682.00. The stock opened at 666.00 and reached a high of 685.60, outperforming its previous close of 672.80.
Adani Enterprises gained 0.82%, closing at 2,995.00. It started the day at 2,960.70 and touched a high of 3,017.65, up from the previous day's close of 2,970.70.
