Stock Market Update July 17th: NIFTY 50 and Sensex Hit New Highs, Nifty Above 24,600, Sensex Gains 51 Pts as Coal India Leads Gainers

The NIFTY 50 and Sensex hit fresh highs today with the NIFTY 50 reaching 24,613.00 up 0.11% or 26.30 points from its previous close of 24,586.70. It traded between 24,587.65 and 24,661.25 for the day and also hit its 52-week high. The BSE SENSEX rose to 80,716.55 gaining 0.064% or 51.69 points from previous close of 80,664.86. It ranged between 80,598.06 and 80,898.30 and also marked a new yearly peak.

Coal India led gains opening at 498.00 and hitting a high of 518.40 before settling at an LTP of 512.75 up 3.01% from yesterday's close of 497.75.

BPCL saw significant movement starting at 308.00 and reaching 319.25 before closing at 316.10, a 2.71% increase from its previous close of 307.75.

Hindustan Unilever opened at 2,625.95, touched 2,725.00 and ended with an LTP of 2,684.20 which was up 2.44% from last 2,620.30 close.

Tata Consumer Products began at 1,148.80 and peaked at 1,179.00 and finished at 1,175.00 gaining 2.28% from its last close of 1,148.80.

Bharti Airtel started at 1,452.00, reached 1,479.30 and closed at 1,463.60 which was up 1.81% from 1,437.60 last close.

LTI Mindtree opened at 5,490.10, hit 5,577.80 and ended at 5,574.00 which was a 1.75% increase from its previous close of 5,478.15.

HDFC Life began at 642.00, touched 655.00 and finished at 645.70 which was up 1.20% from last 638.05 close.

INEY started at 1,718.60, reached 1,737.90 and closed at 1,725.10 gaining 1.06% from its last close of 1,707.05.

Tech Mahindra opened at 1,503.35, hit 1,519.00 and ended with an LTP of 1,515.00 which was up 1.06% from last close of 1,499.05.

Britannia began at 5,812.00, peaked at 5,880.00 and finished at 5,864.50 which is a 0.94% increase from its previous close of 5,809.70.
