It traded between 24,587.65 and 24,661.25 for the day and also hit its 52-week high. The BSE SENSEX rose to 80,716.55 gaining 0.064% or 51.69 points from previous close of 80,664.86. It ranged between 80,598.06 and 80,898.30 and also marked a new yearly peak.

Coal India led gains opening at 498.00 and hitting a high of 518.40 before settling at an LTP of 512.75 up 3.01% from yesterday’s close of 497.75.
