The stock markets made a rebound today June 5th. This has erased some of the losses from a heavy drop in yesterday’s session driven by positive sentiment from the latest Lok Sabha election results, where the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) took the lead. The BSE Sensex closed up 2,303.19 pts or 3.20% at 74,382.24 while the Nifty 50 surged 735.85 points or 3.36% to close today’s session at 22,620.35. Notably the Nifty Bank index also posted strong gains by climbing 4.53% to 49,054.60.

Leading the pack was Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone which witnessed the highest percentage gain among the Nifty 50 stocks closing the day up 7.29%. The stock opened at 1,281.00 and soared to a high of 1,368.00 before settling at 1,340.00. It dipped to a low of 1,160.60 during the day moving significantly from the previous close of 1,248.95

IndusInd Bank followed closely registering a 7.06% increase. The banking stock’s trading session began at 1,400.50, reaching a high of 1,515.80 and a low of 1,372.35 and eventually closing at 1,489.75 which was up from yesterday’s close of 1,391.50
Hindalco Industries also showed strong performance with a 6.46% gain. The aluminium giant opened at 627.00, climbed to a high of 700.65 and saw a low of 607.00. Its LTP was 691.00 which was up from yesterday’s session close of 649.05.
Tata Steel advanced 6.32% with the opening price at 162.15 and reached a high of 169.60. It traded at a low as 159.00 during the day and closed at 169.00 moving up from the previous close of 158.95
The automotive company Mahindra & Mahindra ended the day up 6.06%. It opened at 2,572.90, touched a high of 2,753.70 and a low of 2,571.80, closing at 2,728.90 compared to yesterday’s close of 2,572.90.
Hero MotoCorp which is a major two-wheeler manufacturer, saw its shares increase by 5.92%. The stock opened at 5,315.00, reached a high of 5,775.20 and had a low of 5,315.00 with an LTP of 5,625.00, up from 5,310.70 at the previous close.
Shriram Finance recorded a gain of 5.23%, opening at 2,241.90, reaching a high of 2,397.90 and a low of 2,230.00. It ended the session with an LTP of 2,378.95 which was up from 2,260.95.
Adani Enterprises saw a 5.16% rise, with the stock opening at 3,030.00, hitting a high of 3,150.00 and a low of 2,750.00. It closed at an LTP of 3,093.95 up from 2,941.25
Bajaj Finance ended the day 5.01% higher, opening at 6,604.00, peaking at 6,862.00 and dipping to a low of 6,535.55. The stock closed at 6,836.00 from a previous close of 6,509.55
Tata Consumer Products
Rounding out the top ten Tata Consumer Products advanced 4.79% starting the day at 1,109.00, reaching a high of 1,160.00 and a low of 1,093.15. It later ended the day at an LTP of 1,139.05 which was up from 1,087.00
