Miranda's spring fashion sneak peek
Spring is on its way and most of us can't wait. Even though we were spoiled by this mild winter, there is nothing like crisp, fresh spring air and the fashion that comes along with it.We can expect to see some colorful crowds walking the streets this spring, and it's going to be all about color blocking, oranges and tangerines, pastels, and metallic blasts.
Bold, solid, colorful pieces, like a springy wrap dress, a cardigan to put over a spring dress, or a swimsuit for a much needed, relaxing spring break getaway makes simple dressing look chic and sophisticated. But make sure to keep it at three colors. You want to avoid looking like a rainbow.
Take a step into the wild side. Be bright and fun. Many shades of orange work well for a variety of skin tones. These colors look good with any style of clothing. Shirts, dresses, swimsuits, or even jeans can make an outfit look brighter and make it pop this spring.
If you're not willing to take such a leap with the oranges, you could tone it down a bit with pastels. Pastels work well on any skin tone. These colors give off a low-key vibe. Dresses in these colors can also be paired with neutral colored flip flops.
Want to steal the spotlight when you're with a group of wild friends? Make a dull outfit POP with a touch of metallic. Shiny bronze, metallic golds and metal silver can make an outfit a bit crazy, but fun. This spring fashion trend is going to spice up the nights out on town.
I bet you can't wait for Spring 2012 any longer. This spring is all about color and taking a step out of the box with the fashion trends. Have fun and get crazy!
